Self-adhesive media (PSA – Pressure-sensitive adhesive)
Our PSA media have an adhesive that is activated by applying pressure on it to bond it with the surface. Depending on the application, we will give our adhesives a certain strength and specific characteristics so that they can fulfill their purpose efficiently.
Permanent or removable adhesive?
As the name indicates, it will depend on the specific requirements of the product.
The permanent one is the one you need if the label must remain stuck and stable, and the removable one if at a certain moment it must be removed without damaging the surface on which it is stuck and without leaving residues.
Hot-melt or acrylic adhesive?
The choice of the adhesive is linked to the sum of the need of the product, the type of label, etc.
Your best advisor will be our staff, but broadly speaking we can say that:
Hot-melt adhesive
- Adheres very quickly without drying time.
- Withstands extreme temperature changes well
- Withstands tearing and contact with water.
Acrylic adhesive:
- Withstands UV rays and shows no yellow marks on the label
- Guarantees high durability
- Is very versatile and suitable for adhering to multiple surfaces
- Low odor and low toxicity, making it ideal for products such as food, medical etc.
- Offers flexibility
